Losing tcp connection after a while

Aug 21, 2012 at 11:05 PM

Hi,

I'm running supersocket 1.4 sp4 and socketserver is closing a connection after a while. I've added the clearIdleSession to the config file with value false, but the connection still close after a while. Is this a known bug and is it fixed in sp5.

I'm using a net microframework client which is sending and receiving.

Thanks in advance!

We are seeing (and configured the same) the same thing. I'm wondering if it is related to the keep alives which are automatically configured to be on.

We are using 1.4 SP5 though

Is there any information in the logs?

Only info in the logfile the line that the socket session is closed. No error messages.

I'm still having connection drops. From the logs it seems to happen every 20 minutes. The strange thing though is that not all clients having those drops.

From client side no close command is initiated.

BTW i'm using 1.4 SP4 and NetMicroframework as client.
